Research Projects

Projects I've worked on

In the research program Clinical Child and Family Studies, I study the development of self-regulation in early childhood – both in typically developing children and in high-risk families characterized by parental psychopathology or socio-economic difficulties. Here you can read more about the projects I have coordinated or in which I collaborated.

Doctoral Dissertation

The development of self-regulation is one of the major challenges of a child’s healthy development. For my PhD research and dissertation, I examined the contribution and interplay of parental and biological factors in the development of self-regulation in preschoolers in a large population-based cohort, the Generation R Study.
