NU.nl: Child of sensitive parents develops bigger brain

Children of parents who respond quickly and adequately to signals from their young child develop better in a wide range of areas: they become more cognitively skilled, build better relationships, and have fewer psychological problems.

However, our research among Generation R families revealed that having sensitive parents also predicts a larger total brain value. This new finding potentially explains the positive outcomes found among children of sensitive parents.
